Sports Injuries & Opioid Addiction Forum
at Maine-Endwell Schools

Heroine isn't the kind of drug most people start with.  It's something they work up to.
Sports injuries and injuries, in general, often introduce people to opioid pain killers.
Those pain killers prove so addictive that some people can never stop.

In the last 10 years...
Heroin addiction has increased 100%
Heroin-related deaths are up over 250%
Property crime and human trafficking follow.

No one is immune!

Heroin addiction is striking men & women, all ages, all races, and all income levels.

On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, nearly 100 people came together in the Maine-Endwell Middle School auditorium to talk about the Heroin Epidemic and how prescription pain killers can be the starting place for many.
