Local Government is Important

When's the last time you asked:
  • Who paves the roads?
  • Who picks up the trash?
  • Who hires the police?
  • Who's responsible for administering state and federal programs at the local level?

The answer is LOCAL GOVERNMENT!


Yet, all we ever hear about are Federal-level politics.

Democrat or Republic / Liberal or Conservative - there is much more to government than the 24/7 carnival side show of political news.


Local government is similar to small business in that it puts people front & center.  It makes us interact with our neighbors and come to common solutions rather than polarizing ideologies.

I believe in:

  • Community
  • Decentralized Decision Making
  • Empowered Citizens

I want to help make Broome Country better one person at a time!
