Here some memories from the 2016 picnic:
Held Saturday, August 20th, at Highland Park, Watermelon Time 2016 brought together over 200 people for free food, games, music, and give-aways. The weather was incredible and the smiles were magnificent.
I personally visited 800 homes in Endwell & Endicott and sent out 3,000 postcard invites to the community.
There was no RSVP, so I had no idea how many people would show up.
The response was overwhelming. Not only did I get people that I invited - I also got their friends, neighbors, and relatives too! As a result, the park was packed with people of all ages and walks of life. They sat at the same tables, shared food, games, and conversation. The outcome was lots of smiles. What more can we ask for from life?
