Watermelon Time Community Picnic

Thank you for another great year!

Held Sunday, August 11, Watermelon Time 2019 brought together over 250 people for free food, games, music, and
give-aways.  The weather was incredible and the smiles were magnificent.  Here are some photos:
I personally visited 1,500 homes in Endwell & Endicott and sent out 3,500 postcard invites to the community.   There was no RSVP, so I had no idea how many people would show up.

The response was overwhelming.  Not only did I get people that I invited - I also got their friends, neighbors, and relatives too!  As a result, the future community garden site was packed with people of all ages and walks of life.  They sat at the same tables, shared food, games, and conversation.  The outcome was lots of smiles.  What more can we ask for from life?

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make Watermelon Time a success.

Can't wait to do it again in 2020
