Bringing people together, improving neighborhoods, and invigorating our local spirit are some of the most important things I do as a legislator.
IBM Country Club
The condition of the IBM Country Club was a disgrace for far too long. Blight like this degrades our neighborhoods and leads to sketchy and dangerous situations. Demolishing these buildings was the right thing to do. Originally the county thought a developer was going to build an apartment building there, but the status of that project is up in the air. Frankly, I'm just happy to see the eyesore gone.

Former Christ the King Demolition
Our older neighborhoods often contain pockets of dangerous, blighted buildings which pull down home values and threaten the community spirit. Eliminating such buildings has been a big part of my efforts as a Broome County legislator.
